full import / export

Hi, I would very much appreciate it if I could easily export all data I have in Batchbook (csv files, xml files, zip with attachments) – including all (super)tags and other meta data. Also, I’m looking at loading historic comms into batchbook. Is this already on the drawing board? I don’t mind if I need to digg into some api in progress |

Hi Hans: SuperTags and SuperTag data can already be easily imported and exported. Just build a list from all contacts and turn on all the SuperTag data options in the “Add Data” box. While Communications and attachments CAN be retrieved from BatchBook, we’re working on on-click solutions for each so that it’s as easy as exporting contacts. Thanks for letting us know this is desired. Historic comms—I’m not sure beyond forwarding individual emails into BatchBook via BatchBox. Are these emails you’re looking to get in or other types of comms? |

Hi Adam: re tag export: yes, but you cannot export non-super tags and – for now – you have to check that all tagdata is to be exported re on-click solution for comms: good! historic: well, it would be nice if this could be combined with the other request: email non-email comms. But currently I’m looking at emails – but I would love to see that the original timestamps are kept – see also the other msg about this. |

Great, comms can be exported, as can all the tag data incl the tags. (forgot to mention this earlier) Per supertag you have “toggle all”, could there be one big “toggle all” for all the supertags as well (and on this level perhaps also a “set all” as well, as the toggle just reverses the setting) |

Also interested in being able to export some/all attachments |

I like the “Select All” idea for SuperTag data. The “Export all attachments” is something we’ve been looking to add too. Will figure out the best place to add that. Thanks! |

Great add Hans! Right alongside the Affiliations manager we know is in the works :) |
