Something I’m missing is a ‘creation date’ field or code that would help with sorting and identifying the correct record. For instance, we have the tag that identifies records created via email, but the results list isn’t in any discernable order. I’d like to be able to sort by date of creation, or, alternatively, to be able to define the default order as reverse chronological.

I also like the ‘most recent’ and ‘most active’ options, and another useful enhancement would be ‘touched since…’ where I can pull up records that have been touched by anyone sense a particular date.

While I’m at it, I wish I had a pony.

Individuals
Companies

Recently Added
Recently Updated
Recently Viewed
Most Active

And you’d also like to see

Last Viewed: 1/1/01

somewhere on the contact detail. This sound right?

Last viewed is not high on the list for me, but could be for others.

For the filter I’d rather be able to choose what recent is (pref not via a setting, but on the run), or something I can sort on.

Last viewed isn’t high for me either, but the rest is right on the money. Sortable is important.

This would be highly useful to me as well. I would also like to be able to sort on recency of contact, and recency of Tag.
In other words – Suppose I have a supertag for Products Purchased with a bunch of fields for various products & dates purchased.

Now I want a list of all folks who purchased any product within the past year, or all those who have not purchased within the past year – but they have purchased something sometime.

Ideally, I could further get a list of all people who have purchased product A but not Product B, or those who have purchased Product B, but only in the past 30 days.

And I’d gladly trade my claim to any ponies for this feature.

Hi Kenny, if tag dates are important I would suggest you make the tag a super one and add a date field. In lists you can select the tags and fields, and sort on them.

Super searching (where you can search inside supertag fields) is something we’re still awaiting.

Thanks for this great input, gentlemen. Some more super searching is currently in the works, so I think that’s really going to appeal to you. Specifically, searching before and after a certain date within SuperTags is a planned feature.

Recency of contact creation and modification… I’ll start working that into what I’m currently working on. Thanks for letting me know that’d be helpful!

I would encourage the appreciation of good feedback by giving out a pony or two. That would be twenty-five pounds each time ;-)

I don’t have any ponies to give away but my dad just sold his herd of Scottish highland cattle. I might have missed an opportunity there… :)
