My to-do list app has a Firefox extension where I can select text and create a new todo item automatically with a quick menu click. They also offer a form I can load in my sidebar for quick data entry as well. I can publish to my Backpack pages like this as well. Can you do something like this with new contact data? Is this something planned?

I frequently have contact info in an email message or on another web site that I want to quickly enter in to BB. If I could just zap it into there quickly without loading up the app and tabbing back and forth to copy things over, it would be great.

Mmmmm… Quick Add as a Firefox extension. I’ve thought of it as a desktop widget, but an extension approach is sweet, too. I’d love to do something like this—unfortunately, I don’t have an idea of when yet. I’d love to hear if others would find this useful, though!

We are currently working on an API so that would make something like this possible. Will keep it in mind as something to put on the list after the next big push we are currently doing. It would be cool.
